Prince of Persia seems to be taking over the world this week with the lauch of a new video game and movie. Today lead game reviewer Richard Lewis takes a look back at the title which started the franchise back in 1989.

A truly brilliant game! I must admit that I only finished it a year or two ago, as I never really got past level 8 or 9 as a child (I did cheat my way to the final fight, but that doesn't count). Even at this day, it was fun and there were a few impressive things about it, such as how tough getting through the game in less than an hour is and how natural the main character's movements look.
