Transformers: War For Cybertron

It’s incredible to think that for as long as Transformers have been on the cultural map they have gone from favourite toy, to favourite cartoon, to favourite animated movie and then, much later, to becoming a guilty pleasure in the form of the Hollywood blockbuster... but there hasn’t been one decent computer game based around the franchise.

I've been playing it on PC via HDTV/360 Gamepad to basically get the same experience as the console but with better graphics and sound. I was a HUGE G1 Transformers fan for a long time so I do enjoy the nostalgia of this game though Michael Bay's designs are still being heavily used on all the transformers. They look too much like a mess of metal and gears in heavy action but I understand this was necessary otherwise all the kids who grew up on these live action movies would think the robots looked lame.

I'm not that far into the game it does look promising and I look forward to meeting some of the big bosses like Omega Supreme.
