Re: Fallout: New Vegas (PC) @ GH

the a.i. in this game sucks !!!

at the start of the game i shot that girls dog and she wasn"t even reacting ....

next , i shot her in the face 4 or 5 times ... still nothing.

after a couple more shots she finally grabbed her gun and shot me back ...

WTF ????

Sometimes the game is slow to react and takes into account the shock of being hit before they can pull out their gun just like if it was to happen to you

Re: Fallout: New Vegas (PC) @ GH

Pros:
1.) Doesn't crash into desktop often like Fallout 3.
2.) Fun game to play
3.) Hardcore mode

Cons:
1.) Buggy gameplay. There was no characters getting stretched and flying into the air randomly like in Fallout 3 but I get randomly failed missions whenever I kill something (tested by reloading previously saved game and kill the same character in the same manner but no failed mission next).
2.) Dialogue that shouldn't pop up anymore pops up again. After I finished the quest for somebody WTH is there still an option for "Who are you?" and "What do you do here?" in the dialogue?

My impression so far although I'm only about 4 hours in as I don't have much time to play.

1) NPC was related to that other quest?

2) Yep, those don't help the immersion aspect.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas (PC) @ GH

1.) Nah because when I reloaded and did the same it didnt trigger a failed message popup. Also in Vault 11 while I was being attacked I get random failed message too.

I know of ones that actually trigger failure that aren't bugs like the death of the chainsaw wielding fiend in one of the vaults (some mission about love. lol or something), and the killing one of the great khan near the deathclaw quarry will result in a failed mission for "oh my papa" or something, but there are random failed quests sometimes too for no reason.
