Marvel VS Capcom 3 Review

From the get go Marvel vs Capcom 3 has the arcade game feel, from the brilliantly retro main menu and hypnotising flashing lights to the crazy Japanese music it makes the player feel like he's battling his friends in a Tokyo arcade. As with most fighting simulators there's a range of different game modes and it's wise for any newcomers to start out on training mode as getting to grips with each of the 38 fighters takes a lot of time and practice, that is of course if we don't plan on button mashing our way through every fight.

Wow, has it been more than a decade now since the MvC2 came out? I used to work at an Arcade during that time (Remember those kids? Of course you don't, they all closed down!) and was hardcore into the whole Street Fighter scene, played and ran local tournaments, etc.

The combo system looks like it's been nerfed quite a bit (and changed from the weak to strong sequence!), even Magneto looks weird without his hypergrav > magnetic tempest super cancel.

I can't wait to play this.
