Hi, I just bought TWO Audigy SE sound card (I need so, please don't ask me "why in the world do ya have 2 sound card"..)
The problem is, I get a BSOD on boot with the official Creative driver. I tried almost everything, but the problem is still here. A friend of mine suggested the kX drivers: so I deeply removed and cleaned my system from Creative drivers, read a lot of docs to be sure my card is supported, download the pack and installed... but nothing is appening after the reboot! I also tried to force-install the drivers, but Windows says that are not suitable for my product. Any help is VERY appreciated, I'm going crazy... |

iirc the Audigy SE does not use the 10k2 chip, and is therefore incompatible, sorry

Are you trying to install them at the same time. Have you tried installing one first and then the other.
If you want to try kX, as dj_stick said, those cards won't work. If you can return them, get 2 kX compatible cards. http://kb.kxproject.lugosoft.com/guide/index.html Last edited by Doug W; Feb 27, 2006 at 09:55 PM. |
