Sound Cutoff Issue SPDIF Passtrue
Dear kx team,
First of all thank you for such a good driver! But i have a question. I am using version Kx3538-j. I have this card: Audigy 2 Platinum eX I use 2 speakers setup for my pc. And 5.1 for my hifi set in the livingroom. I use ac3filter to passtrue all digital audio. (Needed for movies with ac3 stream info) However, when i watch online tv, a movie, or listen to music from my hifi set i get sometimes dropouts in the audio stream. kx manager is set to SPDIF 0 @ 4800 Khrz Wav is max. Main volume is on Max. Only front speakers are 'open'and SPDIF is open on normal volume, rest is closed and trurned off. The kx effects are on default installation. I did not have this with old version, althoug i can not seem to remember. I use windows XP. Could this by my setup in software? or does this have to do something with the powerline? e.g. when i switch off the lights in the living room this seems to happen in old houses.. the sound stops for a while 2 sec. and contineus. Could it be the digital spdif cable is corrupt? However if anyone 'knows'what i talk about and have a sollution maybe change powerlines..allthough i have this setup allready 4 years now.. but i seem just now to experiance this issue. 1 point, i have to ground.. so my pc is not powercord-grounded.. no idea it this is relevant.. but just need to tell this aswell. Hope someone knows what is wrong. I hjave this only on SPDIF out number 0. Not on my pc speakers audio out of the audio card. The pc speakers keep giving audio when i have the sound from my external amp on at the same time. so when the sound gets cut for some reason whil watching a movie, the pc speakers keep playing as normal while the singal is cut of to my hifi amp for approx 2 seconds. Hope someone knows a sollution and understands what i try to tell.. Sorry for my bad englisch. Thx in advancd |
