Hey everyone, sorry that my first post is going to be a little negative, but i ain't seeing anything better than creative drivers. Ok here's the deal: i bought some time ago standalone dvd player and wanted to decode sound through my audigy2 zs platinum card. I had creative drivers installed and when i switched to spdif in, i got the sound too. Problem is that after playing a while or doing anything on computer, it freezed. So the only way it played some way was that i didn't do anything on computer while it decoded the incoming spdif signal. Ok then i downloaded newer creative drivers, still the same problem, then i did windows reinstall, insatalled only new creative drivers and new audio console. Worked fine until i started to use FTP client (flash fxp) and as soon as i hit the download button, computer freezed instantly every time.Changed ftp client to bulletproof ftp, no help, same result. Then i thought, ok i'll try these KX drivers. Uninstalled creative stuff, installed KX, but did not get the sound on spdif encoding at all. The marker on the right showed that i had spdif decode signal. I checked everything there was to check on mixer, ins and outs console etc. No sound. Did the speker test, worked like a charm, everything worked except the spdif decoding. Then i read somewhere that these KX drivers don't like DTS very much, so i looked, yes, i had dvd with DTS sound on my player, changed the disc and put on the DD and finally i got the sound, but not a clear sound, stuttering like hell. So i guess i'll have to start from scratch and trying Creative drivers again as they were a bit closer to working. If there's any advice someone can tell me, please do so.
