PROBLEM: audio glitch, pop, blip, click artifacts

I thought I had posted this question before. But it seems not.

I installed KX fairly recently and have been very happy with the results: configurable, low latency ASIO (my main reason for installing it). However I have been getting annoying clicks, pops, small time-jumps jumps and pauses in the audio I hear. It appears to be everything that is effected. As yet I haven't really made any investigations into pinning down where the problem is.

Any ideas folks?
