hello @ all,
i hope somebody can help me. I'll try to explain as best as possible my english allows. Lets start: I try to setup Traktor Dj Studio 3 with best possible settings. My Soundcard is a Soundblaster Live! 5.1 Platinum. kx version is 3538j.

I. I have no external mixer at home, so I use the internal of Traktor. Soundcard is connected via Optical Out to my Receiver.
In kx mixer I coosed "digital output only" to hear Sound. Now there is a problem: with kx it seems to be no way get analog+digital-out simultanisly, right? But to make a dj-mix I need a Master Out (optical out to receiver) and a Monitor Out (my headphone). I think (hope) there are three ways to solve the problem:
a) good case
Master Out = Optical Out
Monitor Out = Headphone Out @ Frontpanel of "Live! Drive IR"

b) bad case
have to disable SPDIF Out and using the analog outputs at soundcard. Also with the disadvantage when connecting a headphone on LineOut directly having very poor soundquality (no Preamp)

c) mixed case
Master Out = Optical Out
Monitor Out = Line Out @ Soundcard (if possible)

So, thats the problem I have to solve. Case a) would be best, but I don't know yet how to "forward" a e.g. "kx Out 02/03" to "Headphone Out from Live! Drive".
Currently mixing works already, but when I enable "Cue" to hear Monitor it plays above Master Out (Digital Out).

II. Choosing ASIO in Traktors Audio Device Setup is best? How can I found out which latency is best for my system?

I got it. case a) works properly. the kx DSP is great !!!
