Soundblaster Live Samplerate

hi first things first KX is great , for the first time ever my live drive is actually working proper!!!

onto the question in hand... when using my 2 other ASIO drivers with Cubase, the Mulitimedia Full Duplex or the directx one, i can select what samplerate i want.
When using the KX ASIO driver its locked down to 48k. is there any way of unlokcing this, or is it because the Soundblaster Live! 5.1 Platinum Card i have only has a samplerate of 48k?

its annoying as ive taken work home from Uni and its all done in 44.1k, and i cant use the KX ASIO drivers with that samplerate!

Please help!!

the 10k1 chip is locked at a clock of 48khz
there is no way to unlock this

you'll need to resample your work to 48khz to enable it to work correctly

does mu SB Audigy 2 support other sample rates, i have one but its not installed

You should be able to playback your old stuff at 44.1 switching to MME, just not ASIO. I recorded at 44.1 for a few years with my SBLive using the Creative drivers before I discovered the kX project.

I think you could also install ASIO4All on top of kX and play your old stuff at 44.1.

also - KX V3538h - had a ASIO setting that worked in 44Khz also... I tried it as a test only tho... (or maybe it WAS in 3538I - I only used that for a short time.. so)

The 44Khz ASIO was dropped somewhere between 3538h and j...

44.1 ASIO still exists, but playback ONLY

) was always functioning in kX, and still it does. Before 3538 ASIO was defaulted to work at 44.1, thus confusing newbies in quite a different way: "Why can I get no ASIO ins with kX? I'm using and my system is..."
