How to Mute the Line In Play back because i don't want to hear my Clean Guitar Signal that come from the line in whene i'm playing with Guitar Rig. I just want wo here Guitar Rig Output ( to wave ) Idem whene i'm recording from the Line-in, i don't want hear the Line in playback. 1) is there a way to do this? 2) or it's simply an Audigy card limitation 3) If it's an Audigy card limitation is the Audigy 2 and higher have the same limitation? |

yes it work but.. with my sb live! (1999) i recive no signal from LineIn if i mute the I/O AC97.
even if i active the AC97 in the recording window, and select LineIn in the AC97 window too. |

Muting AC97 on the Ins and Outs page should not effect MME recording at all, unless you are using a custom DSP config (in which case you need to post a screen shot of your config for us to be able to help).
If you are talking about ASIO recording with the default DSP config, then disconnect the connections between the top 2 pins of prolog and xrouting (and do not mute the AC97 slider in the I/O window). |

More than one plugin can source (bring into the DSP) the AC97 signal, such that each copy of the signal can be processed within the DSP separately and independently. In the default DSP config, both prolog and epilog provide a source of the AC97 signal.
The AC97 Recording Level slider is part of the epilog plugin, and it controls the level of the AC97 source that is within the epilog plugin, that is routed directly to MME recording (within epilog). It has no effect on other AC97 sources within the DSP. In the same way, the AC97 In level slider (on the Ins and Outs page) is part of the prolog plugin, and it only effects the AC97 signal within prolog. Last edited by Russ; Nov 19, 2007 at 11:04 PM. |
