bass redirection w/ klipsch gmx 2.1 & audigy 2zs
hi im using the latest version of the driver... im using klipsch promedia gmx a2.1 speakers and sb audigy 2zs soundcard... do i enable the bass redirection option in the setting... if so which hz shld i stop? issit good?

it depends - if the subwoofer has its own seperate jack or not.
Most 2.1 speaker system Ive seen - use its own cross over for the sattelites and subwoofer - if this is the case - no - leave that unchecked. BUT if you have 2 plugs for the speaker system - one for the subwoofer and one for the sattelites - then yes - check that off - then set the HZ to what ever sounds best. (or if the speaklers manual indicates a 'best' crossover freq to use. But I strongly suspect you have just 1 plug to connect your speakers. So - no check in the 'use subwoofer output' of surrounder. |
