What is "Tank Memory"?

Hi,
i'm trying to refine the kx driver setting on my Audigy 4, but i have not understood the difference between "Tank Memory" and "Buffer output".
Anyone can explain me clearly?
Thank ou very much.

Russ explained it to me here:

http://www.hardwareheaven.com/showthre...ighlight=xtram

From Russ:
Quote:
iTRAM is internal (i.e. in the cards hardware) TRAM (Tank Memory).
xTRAM is external (i.e. in the host computers memory)

I see, but what TRAM is referred from the KX setting? The iRAM or the xRAM?
And at this point if the TRAM is a kinda buffer, what is the differences between the
"TRAM setting" and the "Reproduction buffer" setting (first and second menu in the setting)?

TRAM is used for delay lines in the DSP.
The kX setting refers to xTRAM.
