stereo
hi evverybody.
i'm trying to get a stereo signal with my music programm (Logic) I'm a new user from kx-drivers, so i don't know all the tweaks and tricks. before i worked with kx i've got a big latenz. now with kx it is under 5ms!! thats realy great. but now i've got the problem that i can't do a record in stereo. Just Mono. Input 2 didn't get a signal (before i installed the kx drivers i've got a stereo signal, but also a big latenz) I know a lot about logic but i can't find the panel where i can choose the recording inputs for Asio. everybody in the forum speaks about reducing the stereo inputs. Great, but where can i change this settings? And if i should have all this inputs activ, why i didn't get a signal in logic. i checked out all prolog and epilog settings from KX and think it had to be more a problem under logic. So: where can i choose the asio recording inputs. (Not just this way in the Track Mixer...i've trye to change from input 1 to input 2, but without a signal. there must be something like a router or this "DSP" that we all know from the kx drivers) well lot of thanks mauchi |

Ok... hmm... let me think.. well i think (not sure so) that sb100x have no problems with ASIO in mapping as sb006x does.. so maybe it is some gift from Logic itself (i think Soeren mentioned something on that..) Try other ASIO inputs, signal from second epilog's asio pin may caome to some other logic bus (of course i assume that you use kX ASIO driver)...

Actually, I think this is an issue with SB0102 5.1 as well. I have this card, and yesterday I tried to record via ASIO 0 & 1. Only ASIO 0 worked. After scanning through this forum and reading about the SB0060, I tried to use ASIO 4 & 5 instead, and this worked! =) So my guess is that this ASIO-issue is a problem on SB0102 as well. Might be good to know in the future.

thanks
hi you both
well actually I don't think that i can manage it. I tryed a lot and tryed also to use your tips. but -> .-( Well usually i don't need stereo tracks. and so i let it be with logic. In the future when i had to use a stereotrack i use cubase. And then I import the files into logic... i think thats the only way that works for me. not the best but this works. anyway. Thanks bye mauchi |
