Driver Setup wont work...

Hello all!
I am a newbe 2 and in need of assistance...
I have WinXPpro P4-2400 1GB ram and a SBlive!24bit

I have uninstalled my SBlive Creative drivers from the device manager, rebooted and ran
the KXsetup. When it reached the part when it warns you to click no and not reboot if windows asks you to, I clicked next but nothing happens it just continue to the VST setup.
Eventually I clicked reboot when the KXsetup asked me to but even after the reboot the KX driver did not Install or showed up...
what can I do?
Please assist...

Do you maybe have the Creative Labs Audio PCI 128? That card is not compatible with kX.

the live 24bit doesn't have a 10kX chip, and so kX will probably never support it

I understand, but still, is there another freedriver like KX that can solve the latency?
