Not getting stereo sound

Hi guys,
Newbie here.
Just loaded 3538l for my newly purchased Audigy 4 Pro. Install seemed to go smoothly and sound is great, except one thing. I don't think I'm getting stereo sound from Winamp. Here is my setup -

Windows XP speaker setup - 5.1
KX Mixer setup - 4.1 w/ surround Off
KX DSP - Default
Altec Lansing speaker(4.1) setting to Stereo or Stereo X2

When I do a speaker test and click on the Front Right speaker I get the ringtone from both speakers (L&R). Same thing when I click on the Front Left speaker.

Any thoughts?

Well, after spending half a day on this I finally decided to go back to the CL drivers, and I still had the problem. Very strange, on winamp what I would do is move the slider bar (the one that changes sound from left to right channel and back) and sound would move back and forth between the front and rear, but not left and right.

Finally , I unplugged the speakers and plugged them back in, and then I had stereo sound. Now , I will probably load the KX drivers back on. The CL drivers are giving me a very slight static noise out of the right speaker.
