Muddy Playback CT4620

I installed the KX drivers for my Live! soundcard. So far I used it with Guitar Tab and it sounds great.

But the problem is that whenever I try to play back recorded media like MP3s, the output comes out muddy and seems to saturate. I'm just using standard klipsch analog 4.1 speakers with it. Is there any way to fix this ?

Also, can recording be done simultaneously using the line in and mic in?
