Driver source
Hi!
Since I can get no answer for my problems (it's a bug, so it's not posted here) on this forum, I was wondering if there is a way to get hold of the source code for the drivers (not the api) to help sorting out what is wrong with my installation. (Or is reverse-engineering the way around?) Since my card is an EMU APS, there does not exist any other drivers than the kX ones on W2k so I have no other choice. (Win 98 with original drivers is not an option!)

Hi
No there is no public way. You have to ask to the developer. Maybe are you interested with my thread: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/showthre...threadid=11920 (hope this URL works) ![]() Vincent |

XDread,
No, unfortunately, the kX driver source code is not available publicly. On the other hand, I would suggest that reverse engineering should not be necessary; we’ll try to solve your “beeping noise” problem in an orderly fashion (see your thread under “Bug Reports”). Regards, /Hanz Salut Vincent – avez vous eu le temps de jetter un coup d’œil sure notre SDK? ;-) |

Ah. Thanks!
Not only have I got response from someone with same card, os and driver version that says he/she does not experience these problems, but someone is going to look into it too! I must admit I have lost all my hope solving this case, though... But thanks for your answer! I'm still hoping for a fix during the next versions.
