Just Beginning with kx...
Hello ! I'm a very newbie (and a french one !), so forgive me...
I have several questions : 1/ I have a SBLive digital 5.1 (i think so but i'm not sure) but i can find precisely my card model (something like SBxxxxx or CTxxxxx) in XP. I tried also to identify my card with "Everest" but it's quite confuse for me. Is there a way to identified my card in XP ? 2/ I try to use the "Pro-Fx" plugins to make my own DSP, a very simple and basic one, just to record tracks from my micro to cubase sx3 and to not use at all the Kx mixer. The problem is : when i connect in the DSP my AC97 source (micro), both to the the k1lt plugin and to the an ASIO input plugin, listening is ok (i can play, in cubase or in any XP player) but in can't record (no sound)... If i connect my AC97 source to the "epilog plugin" it works : I can record in cubase SX. I dont' understand why. And i don't understand also the difference between the klt1 and the klt2 plugins ? Klt1 for the 10k1 card models and klt2 for the klt2 card models ? I would have millions others questions (for example with the MIDI Kx driver) but later perhaps... Thanks and i apologise for my awful english. |

Alternatively the card model should be printed on the card somewhere. Quote:

Maybe you cant see this - but the KXLt2 has more outputs available - for me anyway - because its a 7.1 card - which means 2 more analog and digital outputs. |

Lex Nahumury's "How to setup Cubase SX with kX" Newbie guide The ProFx:ASIO plugin uses a different numbering scheme than epilog does, so if you want to use ProFx:ASIO, then you will have to figure out the mapping that it uses. |
