Pissed Is it supposed to sound that bad ?

Hello, I recently installed the KX drivers for my sound blaster audigy 2 card.

I played a couple mp3s and most of the time the sound is just horrible, most instruments sound bad( and nothing like they did before ) and quite often the sound is distorted or cracking !

Is there a way to fix those problems ? Creative drivers were a pain in the neck but at least they gave me decent sound quality....

Codecs have nothing to do with kX.

Make sure your that your speakers are setup correctly in the kX Speaker Setup applet (Surrounder).

On the FX page of KX Mixer, adjust Reverb and Chrous levels to your preference.

In the DSP, open the tweak window for the 'timbre' plugin, and adjust the bass/treble levels to suit your taste.
