What about controling audio lvls per program?

I've been after a mixing program for ages that can adjust the levels output by individual programs.
i.e. have winamp playing mp3 at one volume level & playing Battlefield 1942 sounds at another level as oppose to just them playing at the same level via the WAV out volume adjuster.

So does this driver have the ability to do it?? I'm going to be buying myself a Audigy2 soonish, I know the kX team hasn't got one yet (according to their website), but if these drivers do it - ALL RIGHT!!!

Hope I've made myself clear.

it sure does:

goto control panel > sounds & audio devices > audio > sound playback default device

set this to kXwave 0/1 this will be controlled by the kX mixer (or the standard windows mixer)

in winamp, goto options > preferences > output > directosound output (configure)

and select kX wave 4/5 or 5/6 or 7/8

you can control these volumes using the standard windows mixer. just change the mixer device (options > propeties) to whatever you want to control.
