nakamichi has a little shameless behaviour in the past

OK,I tried 3538C and the 3538G update. There's no improvement.24/96 recording and the UDA codec are still not working.

I think I was using Win98SE or WinXP SP1 before when the UDA codec worked.
I know it worked before.I was recording with the UDA codec at 16/48 and there was a difference when toggling between AC97 and UDA.I also got 24/96 working with the old Sound Forge 6 via MME.

If someone with a SB0240 (or SB0240P) card is willing to test these old versions on Win98SE or WinXP SP1,I can upload them together with the old version of ProFX 2.0. This is a very serious bug that must be fixed before the final 3539 release.

strange. because UDA itself does work for me with 38L (and worked for me with all the prev. 38 versions - i'm sure 'cos i have a tvtuner buzzing through it).
It's only "WaveHQ recording" that died.

Can you post a screenshot of the kX Mixer Master page,Recording page,AC97 page and the DSP?

This is what I get now:
http://stashbox.org/14822/sb0240.jpg (if the UDA is working,I should get about 83~84dB SNR)
Can you set the DSP like this and post a screenshot?

Thanks for the pics Max,but that's not the master page there (it's the ins/outs page) and the recording page shot isn't there.

BTW,that's a lovely skin you have there for the peak meters It's not only the looks, the new skin makes them much more functional.Do you have a link for that skin?

P.S. If this doesn't work now,I have to see if it works on a fresh installation of XP or even test the soundcard on another machine.

Why would you use that old red profx version??? (may contain bugs)
The newer ProFx v3.x is available for every kX Driver Version on my site.

Btw, here's a tip on using UDA;
Either use Prolog + kxmixer page(s),
or
use ProFx ADC plugin and do not touch related kxmixer page(s)

I'm not using that version at all.The red one was just for testing with the old 3538C drivers. (normally I use the latest 3.08/3538L with the 3538M drivers)

With 3538m I still get this:
http://stashbox.org/14837/3.png

(no,this is not Max M.'s previous screenshot although it looks very similar)

This means I'll have to test with a fresh install of XPSP1
P.S. I almost forgot about the handy PeakX in 'Uniform' (it's using even less GPRs)
