Question about DirectSound hardware mixing with 3538m

Hello,

I have tried to find information about this subject but couldn't find any. Does anyone know why my hardware mixing doesn't work in combination with 3538m drivers/Audigy 4/DirectSound output v2.46(d) (Winamp 5.33) I got Windows Vista Ultimate running.

See this screenshot, it is unsupported... why!? I miss my sound quality..

Vista has no hardware DirectSound support. Forget it. This interface is obsolete.

It has nothing to do with quality
