easy switching between sb and kx drivers?

I haven't been around her for a while,but I remeber som time ago I've read a topic title that cliamed the author found away to easylly switch beack and forth ebtween kx and SoundBlaster drivers (I'm not sure if it was under WinXP or if there was a problem with WinXP preventing the technique to be used with it)

do you guys know where i can find such info?
