Winamp, Directx plugin, Hardware Mixing Problem
Hi,
I use Windows XP Home SP1a with original Directx (8.1) with either 3530 or 3531 Driver. Using Winamp 2.81 with wa2update.exe (Directx Plug-in 2.2.6). When using Hardware Mixing (Hardware Acceleration in Winamp Directx-Plugin), Winamp sometime stop at the beginning of a track (Song) and if I close it and check Task Manager their is a hung Winamp process. Is there a problem with Hardware Mixing ? Or is Winamp the Culprit ? Mostly when shuffling between songs. Thank You Jean Last edited by thinke10; Apr 2, 2003 at 12:49 AM. |

Can I recommend you to try foobar2000? I had some problems with Winamp and I don't use it anymore. foobar2000 is much better IMHO.
Lastest offical version: http://foobar2000.hydrogenaudio.org/ Lastest beta (be careful): http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/index.p...ST&f=27&t=8007 If you don't like it, then just please test if you can reproduce the problem with it. Thanks.
