INstalling on XP with SB Live Problems
Hi
I installed this on XP with a SB Live 5.1. My original SB live drivers worked fine previously. However as I have heard that the KX drivers maybe better particularly with Team Speak I thought it would be worth looking at. Installation appeared to go correctly. I then reboot the machine after it has completed. Again no error messages. Login, sound is played on Windows startup. Double clicking the sound icon in the task bar shows the driver tag as kx. The KX Manager then loads and sound stops working. I saw a previous article which suggested unticking the reverse speakers, so I did this and sound is now working. Although sound that should come out of left speaker comes out of right etc. As I use Earphones that could be a problem. Test the mike no good, both in Windows recorder and team speak. Any ideas what the problem is. XP service packed to latest. Miles |

I have the almost the same problem. Except reversing the speakers doesn't help @ all. For me..after the login sound, no other sound works.

I've given up for the moment in lieu of this. Seeing other users posting in here with similar issues I would guess it is an ongoing issue with no current solution
![]() Would assist if those experiencing the same issue, post as above. Miles |

Did you try to allow all input/output ?
Because, I have no problem with it

Yes I did. Remeber if I click the reverse speaker toggle then it works, Mike doesn't but having my right sound appear out of my left ear is not going to be any good. Play WWIIO and spatial awareness is an important part of the game.

One solution is to reverse in the dsp, epilog, the two links and then it should work
