Synchronize Sound Cards

I have 3 Sound Blaster live! Value cards in my MP3 server. I have it working flawlessly with xlobby and can output independently to any of the 6 zones. The problem I have is that I can sync zones as long as they reside on the same sound card. If I try to sync zones to different cards, I begin to get an echo and the songs slow begin to space out. I believe I read that is due to each sound card using a slightly difference clock speed. Is there anyway with the Kx drivers (that I already use) to synchronize sound cards?

The common method of syncing cards with kX is to tie them together with S/PDIF cables.

One card is the HOST and the other ones the clients.

You could use 2 SPDIF outputs from your HOST card, sending 1 each to SPDIF inputs in the other cards. This takes a bit of DSP manipulating but it wil work if I understand correctly what you are planning to do.

I won't elablorate anymore at this point in case you have left the planet.

Yell if you want more info and I or another kX user will jump in.
