Creative Digital Music LX ?

hİ;

i have Creative GD580 and sblive sb0220 5.1 sound card

but this card doesnt have spdif passthru

i saw Creative Digital Music LX its cheap and has optical outputs and
5.1 surround...
i also cant have 5.1 analog with decoder enabled.
if i hooked the cables with soundcard and subwoofer i can get analog sound.
but its making bad noises while watching 5.1 coded films.

is it worth to buy for easy spdif passthru solution? on DVD's coded with DTS and DD...

plz can you help me about it?

Sad

hi; now i have Audigy 2 ZS on creative GD580. i connect it with coaxiel my first problem is; Audigy 2 ZS cant make a true 5.1 test on gd580 5.1 is only dolby pro logic 2 and rear satellites is not work on test ony left and right... same for THX. what to do? how to get THX? or THX is only for analogue connection? i can disconnect cables from decoder and i can get 5.1 analogue... and second is sometime when i passthru AC3 stream through decoder lights on everything seems ok but sound time to time goes fade out and in. especially with harddisk usage on peer to peer programs like emule, azureus. do you know how to fix all and what's the best install for audigy 2 ZS ..software.

It depends on the content you're trying to play. If it is encoded in DTS then have the player you're using select that then it should pass thru. THX is a independent certification not a surround sound type. Try to verify your left/right rears work in analog first.

rolleyes

i think you cannot understand me well

creative gd580 works flawless with no decoder hooked on

instead i hook cables direct to sound card
than i have analog 5.1 system i tested.

NOW

i use Kxproject 3538M drivers.
with coaxial

sound test only gives left and right

i wish to disable DOLBY PRO LOGİC 2 on decoder.
so i get a 5700 with DOLBY & DTS decoder
but it is imposible cause it is hardware...
i think it's better than creative official.
ALSO
but i didnt passthru DD on a film for one hour.

when i test it fully

i will grab there.

that is perfectly normal, and to be expected.

this thread will help explain why
