Low volume when recording audio

Hi all,

I'm new here, so first of all HELLO!

Now the reason that brought me to this forum. I got a problem with KX when recording "what you hear" audio. I use Cool Edit to record the audio playback from movies playing in Media Player on my PC. The slider for recording wave is totally up in the KX mixer, so is the volume bar in Media Player. I still get a pretty low recording volume in Cool Edit. Is there any way to boost this except for adding a post-recording boost in Cool Edit?
