24 bit asio recoding not possible?

from the faq: ASIO v2.0 - based hosts are fully supported, however, some ASIO2 features are not implemented due to hardware limitations. 24-bit ASIO support is planned for 10k2-based boards.

from what i've read it sounds like you can do 24bit recording, but not with asio. to record multiple tracks you need to use asio eh?

i'm wanting to get an audigy2 card and mod it so i can have 4 inputs at once.
should i bother buying one of these cards?

Well... it's not impossible...

You can always run asio4all on top of waveHQ.
