Registry after uninstall

Is it common that after uninstall and reboot the registry still contains lot of kx stuff ?
Or is it unique for multiple boards installs ?

Thanks

the registry entries created by kX software are:

hkey_classes_root\.kx, .kxl, .kxs etc -- [explorer integration] are deleted by kx Setup
hkey_current_user\Software\kX -- are deleted by kX Setup, except the '\plugins' subkey
hkey_local_machine\asio and \soundfont -- are deleted by kX setup

that is, the only registry key that is not deleted is \software\kX\plugins
the other keys are not created / accessed / modified by kX, so, we don't delete them either
it is up to Windows to deal with them...

'kX uninstall' removes the devices automatically
however, Microsoft code responsible for adding/removing the hardware doesn't clean the registry

anyway, I doubt this is the reason
