AC-3 Passthru Support [SB0102]

Hey guys, Im new here. Today i was tinkering around with creatives drivers and figured out how to get AC-3 passthru to work. I was very happy :-) Then I got greedy and wanted full-time ac-3, so i found redocneXk, but realized I needed ASIO drivers. I got ASIO4ALL, but then found kX project, so installed that instead, figuring i could get ASIO drivers and replace creatives garbage in one step. Well, now xK is installed and PCM output is working but I cant get ac-3 passthru to work at all anymore. I read that this feature is not supported on my card. Ill also note that Under the ac-3 passthru option on the master mixer screen, I don't have any spdif 0 option, only spdif 1, 2, and 3. When will this feature be supported? Does the passthru have to be working for redocneXk to work?

At this point, it does not look like ac-3 passthru is ever going to work with 10k1 models and kX.

As for redocneXk, it will work either way, but the ac-3 signal will never get to your receiver, so it would not be very useful without ac3-passthru working.

I've got SB0162 and AC3 Pasthru also doesn't work

ok, so would it work if i reinstalled creatives drivers, so ac-3 passthru would work, then installed an ASIO driver like ASIO4ALL, and used that with redocneXk?

No, that would not work because ASIO4ALL only gives you 2 channels for recording when you need 6.
