A specific question
Hi all, this is a very specific question.
Situation is this, i have an Audigy Platinum eX on an Asus K8V Se Deluxe motherboard. I am also getting into radio broadcasting and am using Studio365 live or SAM to upload. Problem is this, Studio365 takes over my primary device and i cannot play mp3's or anything else. 1. Is it possible to route the output from studio365 to some other virtual device in kxmixer? 2. I cannot see my motherboard's onboard sound card on kxmixer even though its enabled in the bios. Is there anyway that kxmixer enables me to do a probe? 3. In the event that i do buy another Audigy soundcard, does kxmixer enable me to route the sound from the studio365 to the second soundcard? Note: Getting the sound from studio365 is not a priority.... Being asked to get another pc to broadcast is also not an acceptable answer..hehe Thank you so much guys.. |

just to add some more info
i would like to use realplayer to playback my mp3's studio365 live does not allow one to choose the soundcard. it latches onto the primary device as stated in the sounds and audio devices in the system i run dvds from powerdvd through spdif..that also does not allow one to choose the soundcard..i would like to be still able run powerdvd... the onboard soundcard seems to be enabled but in the kxmixer application i can only see ac97 audio on the left and in the master window i can only choose SB0090 10k2 |

kX Mixer only manages your kX compatible card(s).
To manage other devices you should use the software that came with that device. If the application software does not let you choose which device to use, then there is no (simple) way to send it to a device other than the default Windows device. |
