how to connect 7.1 analog outputs to SB0350 ?
So, i bought an audigy 2 zs instead of the audigy 4 bulk.
I've read on several forums, that in order to connect 8 channnel outputs, i must use some proprietary connectors. Has anybody done something like this ? I've found some pics of the cable that people told is good, but it has one jack and 3 RCA-s, so i guess i'll need 2 connectors like that. My question is where do i plug in those connectors? Rear connector and sub+center ? And my second question is, if i connect only 5.1 then are the normal stereo jacks suitable ? Any help is appreciated. |

only 5.1, yes normal jacks will work
for 7.1, you'll need the 4pole jack to 3xRCA cable, often called a camcorder cable, or these days, A/V cable for iPod Video from memory i *think* it's the rear and centre/lfe jacks that have the 4 pole jacks, i just haven't used them on mine, and my manual is in a box in another house right now

Confirmed - the 'SIDE' outputs are the Rear (Side Right) and center/lfe (Side left)
They are labeled on EPILOG as (K2_I2S 2) Out 30/31. But ProFx/K2lt doesn't have these employed. So Epilog is the only way to use those outputs... |
