I know this forum isn't for this, but I couldn't of any other place better than here to ask this...
do you guys know of a free (and preferably open source) voice changer that is at least as good as MorphVox ( http://www.screamingbee.com/community/Multimedia.aspx ) when it comes to human like voices (not distorted, roboticized and alike) while a the same time offereing enough flexibility to allow one to createalien voices and alike? if it is in part or fully connected "embbebed" in the kx driver it i would be even better I've tried learning how to program dsp plugins, but the level the data is handled is too raw and the math requirements are too much tor me :/ i've also tried mixing a couple of pitch shifters, timbre and delays but it is like recompressing a jpeg over and over again, the more I modify the more unwanted noise comeunwanted noise comes up I think in the lack of a propper algorithm, having a graphical interface where I could draw a curved or even "polygonal" line to represent the correspondence between input frequency and output frequency, between input frequency and outputdelay, between input frequency and output amplitude (this last one would be like a continuous equalizer) and many other stuff like that of course all of that needs to sit between any recording/retransmiting software and my microfone without blocking the data fow nor letting the wrong stuff thru |
