HL voice doesn't work after kx drivers installed

Hey guys I installed the kX drivers for my SB live! card and now my in game HL voice through Counter-Strike is nothing but static and no one can understand me. Anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this?

Hi Jah,

If you plan on playing games then be carefull with the Kx drivers. Probably your application is using some superset or interface of bDirectX that isn't supported by the Kx driver.

Check the FAQ Section

"Q. Are the kX drivers aimed at musicians or gamers or both?

A. At present the kX driver is aimed primarily at musicians, and especially those who wish to get the most out of their soundcards (and who have traditionally been left behind by the big soundcard manufacturers, who prefer to concentrate their efforts on the more lucrative gamers market). Features designed specifically for gamers will however be added as development of the drivers continues

Edit: I'd stick to original Creative Drivers ( or the cracked Audigy2 ones, which are more robust and HQ ) if were you
