Soundblaster 5.1, microphone

I am sorry if this question is completly retarded, Im just tired of messing with kx, especially as I can't get it working.

Instead of using speakers I simply connected a headphone, but now I can't get my goddamn microphone working.

I can hear myself when turning on the microphone input in the AC97 tab.

Now the question is, how can I 'send' my voice to the kx device, instead of my headphones?

Mute AC97 slider on Ins and Outs page.
Unmute AC97 slider on Recording page.
Mute Mic In slider on AC97 page.

BTW: You can find a decent tutorial on setting up the MIC here.
