still no 5.1 in vista ?

It was a lot discussed in the forums that under vista there is no 5.1 support. When i saw that the new version appered i've installed it, but it's still stereo. An Eugene doesn't write a word about this in the driver highlights.
So, could anybody manage to work in 5.1 mode ? If yes, how.

I'm using sb0220.

Hi,
I have SB0222 and i have 5.1 sound (but only stereo expanded to 5.1), i can hear sound from all speakers but the software sees only stereo, so kx is only upmixing my sound signal. These drivers (3539) works mostly the same for me like old driver (3538m).
I agree that no one is answering to any question about this "bug", i wonder if they just forget about these sound cards, but i think there is no "full" support for Vista in this driver (maybe for other sound cards like audigy).
I'll be happy if anyone could reply to this post trying to find any solution.
P.S.Sorry for my bad language.
