Compatabiity Question for an Emachine

Hey guys,
I have a friend who has an emachine t5212, and would like to get kx project installed on the machine for better control over the soundcard.
Unfortunely when after I run the KX insrtall and reboot, the mixing doesn`t show up in the taskbar, and when I try and engage it through the install directory, it says it didn`t install properly and to re-install, but I have done that a few times and it won`t go in.
Aparently is a realtek soundcard on the those machines.
Any ideas why I get this to work,
Any thoughts is greatly apreciated,

kX will not work with the realtek sound card.
