3538 /3539 performance comparison?
Hi!
Someone tried and had conclusion about performance ,latency and so on switching from 3538 to 3539? --------- ANd Asio aside ,someone maybe checked mme and wdm drivers ,if are better than 3538? I know this is a marginal part of the driver(mme wdm i mean) , just curious since i work with 44.khz files and i'm flowed with bad audio stops and slowdown in sonar 6. Instead to reinstall 3538 from scratch ,could be also interesting to try 3539 ,but i'm keeping that OS with less changes as possible ,as i lost my cd_OS backup- ---------

With 3539 the minimum latency in all possible ASIO-Modes is 5.33ms on my 2.4Ghz Pentium4 System. This is for 48kHz sample rate.

You really need to do your own comparisons...
For me, ASIO seems to be right about the same as the later 3538 releases. |
