Deleting Audigy software
I am using Vista and it seems to be almost impossible to get rid of the creative software.I have removed the drivers in system 32,deleted everything creative in the registry but every time I reboot the Audigy mixer comes up. I only get sound on the boot up, once this is complete, nothing. Do I need the KX drivers or is there another way to get sound. Also I am using a wide screen Television as the monitor and need to use the digital outlet on my Audigy 2 Card.

This free utility will completely removed all Creative files, folders, and registry entries:
Guru3D - Driver Sweeper Version 1.0.0 Download here: Guru3D - Driver Sweeper The poor folks still dependent on Creative's Vista driver support have been jumping through endless hoops with their drivers. All those installations, un-installations, re-installations, and infinite troubleshooting have accumulated a communal-knowledge of Creative's evil ways, now fully implemented in this release. Read the manual. Once Creative's stuff is purged, install kX, but prepare yourself for the interface. The kX driver should provide digital out, if you enable it. Good luck! |
