Getting synth to work without latency
Hi! Looking for basic settings for
AC97 = Guitar POD + setting for midi (in and out) Aux2= Line2 = Keyboard + midi ( in and out ) Line2 = MIc2 = vocals At the moment no midi in Cubasis...or in other programs that relate to pure midi playing. I use Audigy (1) and I am not so experienced. Hoping for detail suggestions or hint of were to find in forum. I sopose it has to do with the routing but I do not know were to start Cheers SonicWiseman |

HI....
Can you be more specific?... Do you use that "midi without latency" when playing on your keyboard, or when your computer is playing some midi file? DO you use soundfonts?... and what is that what you wrote "AC97 = Guitar POD + setting for midi (in and out) Aux2= Line2 = Keyboard + midi ( in and out ) Line2 = MIc2 = vocals" .....

Managed to find out that I did not have SF2 loaded, so problem with no synth sound when using midi files in Cubasis fixed. SBB....
Remaining problems are; Latency when playing on midi keyboard connected to audigy in Cubasis. Using Platinum Uart2 Midi in and out. Heavy Processor load according to performance monitor in Cubasis. Problem with monitoring Line1 or Line2 when recording in Cubasis. Using configuration according to suggestions in forum. Posted link in forum for Line 1 and Lin2. Suggestions please!!! Links in forum appreciated. Cheers ................Sonic Wiseman |
