3rd party drivers for SB Live! 5.1

is that what the kX drivers are all about? if so, which ones should i d/l for the SB Live! 5.1 card?

i normally wouldn't ask, but the 3 different sets of creative driver's i've tried do not work. i keep getting the "there's not creative device found" whenever i attempt to install these drivers.

if i could get some help on this, it would be much appreciated

Get kX drivers if you don't need EAX. I don't know if their sound quality is better, but I like the controls (kX manager) better than the original Creative applications. I'm using the latest 3539 and I haven't found any bugs yet.

i managed to install the creative drivers manually. i had to unzip the files to a folder and install via device manager.
