Problem with Sound Blaster Live! Value in new system

Title: problem with SB Live! Value in new system

I have recently bought a new computer and I seem to have some strange problems with my system:

I have a sound card, Creative SB Live! Value (not 5.1 I think), and I get this strange problem: when I hold a window and move it around the screen I get heavy noise (like EMI) and even though the system does play the music fine for a while, after some time it stops playing and according to the software (foobar2000) it keeps on playing but there is no sound, that happens after about 5 minutes or less.

there is the option of buying a new sound card in case this card has burned, but if I do that there has to be something that I want to be in it: so the question is which EMU10K1/k2/k2.5 (supported by KX Project) card has these specs and will work for this configuration:

3 analog stereo outputs that are supported by Kx DSP
use Kx DSP as a "digital" 3-way crossover and output to stereo amps
midi/game port

I prefer older cards like Live! 5.1 (if it supports) than anything new, except of corse the I2S DAC's in the audigy 2 (zs ?) and the 106db SNR, unless the 3GB problem is not only applicable to Vista, and im using driver version 3534f (with ProFx and UFX), my system configuration is a Cubase rig as follows:

PSU: VX450W
CPU: E6750
Mobo: Abit IP35-E (Bios: 12)
RAM: Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 (2GB, 800 Mhz, 4-4-4-12)
Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Value
Windows XP

I know that the Audigy/2/4/X-Fi cards are the same as the SB Live! 5.1 if the signal is going through the DSP (without p16v or whatever it's called)there is some confirmation that the sound card is burned: the system has random freezes, at first I thought it was a PSU problem but then when I remoevd the sound card the system no longer freezes in the BIOS, so that also means that all the other components are fine and that it is certainly the sound card which causes the problems the reason for that is probably obvious, this sound card been running for at least 5 years by now, if not 7

I was thinking about this: http://us.creative.com/products/prod...oduct=50&nav=1
but it seems that on the site there is no detailed information about DAC's or will the "digital/analog" plug is actually a connection that is fully supported by Kx DSP
