exclamation Microphone problem - SB Live! 5.1 + Inspire T5900

HeLLo there (this is my first post).

I have a problem with mic on my SB Live! 5.1 + Inspire T5900 with kx drivers (ver. 5.10.00.3537) conected to the pilot of T5900. I was looking everywhere but I didn't found nothing about this problem.
I setuped my soft exactly as on this page: kX Project: Knowledgebase: kX Getting Started Guide - Microphone Setup and of'course configure it to work with 5.1 speakers and the speakers are connected by colors but front is diverted with rear. This is written on kx manual.

When I connect the headpohones and mic to pilot the sound is allright but the mic doesn't work.

Is there anybody who can help me or write what I made wrong?

THX anyway for any help.

I think that is your problem right there. Looking at the connectivity guide for the T5900, I do not see anything about connecting the MIC to the speaker system.

I am not completely sure what you mean by "pilot", but I would guess that you mean the "Volume Control Unit". The "Volume Control Unit" appears to have an output for your headphones and an auxiliary input so that you can connect portable devices to the speaker system (it is not a sound card input).

Connect your MIC to the MIC input on the rear of the sound card.

Cool!

Yes. U have right.

I connected mic to the MIC Input on the rear of my sound card and it works.
But now I can't connect the headphones to the Volume Control Unit because the cable of mic and headphones are together.

I will have to buy some cable to connect a hedphones to pilot or the mic to rear mic input.

THX.
