I'm tryin to record from line-in (tape deck, radio, vynil etc). i hear the sound from the source but i can't record from that. what am i doing wrong?? also when i look at the recording setting in the windows mixer panel i can't see line in source. only recording level. Also when i press the record function in a program then the sound from line in immediately mutes and the program crashes.
i have an Audigy 1 now what bothers me most is that recording from line in works fine with the creative drivers. but i wish i could do it with the kx drivers because creative drivers suck big time.

Check the mixer that came with kX, there you will find a slider on the recording tab, and an 97 tab.
in the ac 97 tab, choose linein as source, and in the recording tab, slide up and unmute the ac97 input source |
