WMplayer 9 series WinXP and remote cntr.IR

I tried to use my pc with my TV in order to see a SVCD in WMplayer 9 series, all is OK, but, when i've lowered audio volume using the IR control of audigy platinum, WMplayer close the fullscreen setup and return to normal mode.
I tried many times and always....

XP home
Audigy platinum
PIV 1,6 g
256mb ram
KX 3531
WMP 9

everyone can help me?
