mpeg2 multichannel decoding

Hello,

Is it possible to play a mpeg2 multichannel audiofile without downmixing the source to only 2 channels?

I have succesfully encoded 6 wavs to such a file (with toolame/d), decoding the file back again to 6 channels worked. The problem is, it only plays on FXBus 0/1 (used powerdvd).
Connecting all possible FXbus outputs to epilog inputs didn't help.

Does anyone know if this is possible at all? Probably it hasn't to do anything with kx specific related, but because i'm using that driver and am clueless at the moment, any input is appreciated.
The purpose is to create a video with multichannel audio, that plays on computer and a standalone DVD player, without a DVD-R.
