ROBSCIX is on a distinguished road

20KX Ever?

I was wondering if the coders will ever move to the 20 KX chips?

I thought I seen E. mention that 'no, not until CL releases some info/code for those DSP's.'

Paraphrased of course.

I'd rephrased this as just "Never" (no matter if CL releases info or not)

I think that it is less a matter of having the necessary info, and more a problem with the major differences in hardware.

i.e.
Think just about the DSP (it is not the same FX8010 architecture that is used with the k1/k2 cards)... vastly different capabilities and instruction sets = no plugin compatibility.

Neh, it's always a matter of;
1. necessary info
..plus
2. lots of work/free time!

Both are not available, so basicly it's like Max said; "Never".

Yes of course, if you have the necessary info and time, anything is possible, but what I meant is that with the major differences in hardware, why should it be part of kX?

i.e.
With the hardware differences, it is like asking for support for <insert any non-kX compatible sound card here>...

Thus, I also agree that the answer is "Never", even if the info was available (as Max said).
