What to do with the equalizer?
Hi everyone. I wouuld like to use the 10 band equalizer on my sb 022 but I don't actually know where to connect it. When I'm trying to swap it with horus or reverb, it gives no effect, it simply doesn't work. It is visible in the DSP and I can move sliders, but with no change to the sound. I'm especially interested in modelling the sound coming from my guitar. In the DSP i have AC97 left and right from the prolog (two first sockets from the top) connected to Asio 4 and 5 in epilog. It's done so to be able to route the sound from line in to Guitar Rig. I hope this information is sufficient to explain my problem. If not, I will take a screenshot of my DSP. I will really appreciate your help. Just tell me where to connect it. Thx. Now I'm going to sleep because in Poland it's 1.30 a.m. Bye.

connect it between the input (AC97) of Prolog and ASIO 2/3 of FXBuss (AC97 > ASIO 2/3 is default on mine, but if it connects to ASIO 4/5 - then select ASIO 4/5 as the input in Guitar Rig).
This will be Guitar > EQ > Guitar Rig (using ASIO 2/3 or ASIO 4/5 INPUT) But of course theres 1,000 ways to connect it all up - this is the quickest way with default DSP. edit: Using LINE IN - for a guitar input, may need extra pre-amplification - so, you might need to add some GAINHQ or X4 (or multiples of) between AC97 of prolog and the EQ |
